Whew!

I have been working on getting all of the stuff from the Webs site over here.  It is pretty time consuming.  I have been able to get a lot done, however there is still much to do.  I don't really have a time frame for when everything will be done. I had hoped to have it all done this weekend, but I wasn't able to work on anything at all yesterday.  I had to take my car in for service, and of course that took forever; after that I went out with my mom and sister for a few hours.  After all of that, I needed an adult beverage, so was in no condition to do anything.  :0)  I also need to get started on my second podcast; I already have so much to talk about I can't wait to start recording.  And the next episode is going to have the first I've Got a Secret Knitting Project, so I really need to start working on that.  I already know what it is, but I do need to write out the pattern, start knitting it.... all that fun stuff. For right now though, it is a beautiful morning, and I don't want to waste any more time sitting in front of this computer, I've already been sitting here so long my butt has fallen asleep.  So I am going to make a nice cup of tea and go out to my porch and knit!!!  This nice weather will be gone before too long, and I don't want to miss a minute of it!  Until next time, Happy Knitting!

Episode 1 of the Podcast is Up and Running!

Well, the first episode of the podcast is up! I'm so excited! In this first episode, I talk about what features I plan on including in each podcast, review some knitting magazines, Knits from the North Sea, and play a little music.  Here are links to everything I cover in this episode.

Knits from the North Sea - lace in the shetland tradition. By Carol Rasmussen Noble and Mararet Leask Peterson.  I love this book!  Full of beautiful lace projects. If you like to knit lace, this is a good one!

Yarn Forward : August, Issue 16
                    Knitting : August 2009, Issue 66
                    The Knitter : Issue 8

Music - Sanctuary : The Outsyder (PodsafeAudio)

The project is a Feather and Fan Shawl knit with Cadenza, from Estelle Yarns
