Episode 4 of the Sapphires N Purls Podcast

Welcome to Episode 4, and thanks for listening!  As always, I have magazine reviews.  Also in this episode, some patterns for Halloween, more rows for the Mystery Knitting Project, and what I've been up to lately.

KnitToday - September 2009 - I can't find this issue on the website.  It looks like they are still working on things, so I am not certain if this issue will soon be listed in the back issue section or not.

The Knitting Collection - Volume One.  They are actually calling this a bookazine.  58 patterns, some for kids, men, women and around the house.

Knit 'N Style - December 2009, Issue 164, 12th Anniversary Issue.  Packed with gorgeous sweater patterns, wraps, shawls, and lots more.

Creative Knitting - November 2009 - Patterns for sweaters, vests, hats, scarves and more.  My favorites: Tunic with Ruffles on page 22; Weekend Hoodie on page 32; and Lush Bath Mat on page 63.

Some patterns for Halloween:
Batty Dishcloth
Halloween Ghosties
Felted Pumpkins
Felted Trick or Treat Bag
Curly Purly Pumpkin

The Mystery Knitting Project:
As promised, here is the next part of the pattern.  Once you finish these rows, I'm sure you will be able to see the surprise.  We're almost done, there will just be one more part to this pattern which will be revealed in mid November.

And there you have it!  Hope you enjoy this episode, and please come back at the end of October for the next episode.  I will have more magazine reviews, of course, as well as a book review, the Girls Night In Project - which I am making a small change to that I hope you will like - and I will also talk a little bit about the projects I have finished, started, or have gotten bored with and set aside.  See you next time and Happy Knitting!
